Linamar to create 250 new jobs in Békéscsaba with investment in new plant
Linamar Hungary Zrt. will carry out a HUF 17.6 billion automotive investment in Békéscsaba, Hungary’s minister of foreign affairs and trade announced this week in Budapest.
Péter Szijjártó said the government will support the investment with a HUF 3.9 billion grant thanks to the advanced technology and exceptional added value it features and the 250 jobs to be created as a result.
The Canadian company's new, 10,000sqm plant will produce electric drivetrain systems for new Daimler cars to be sold in the US and China.
