LG and Magna are building an inverter factory in Miskolc

The joint venture of South Korea's LG and Canada's Magna will build its first European factory in Miskolc, the investment worth about twenty billion forints will create more than two hundred new jobs in the city - announced Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó. The joint venture will produce inverters and on-board chargers for electric cars, and trial production may begin in 2025.
