KSH: Hungary’s industrial output grows despite slowing automotive manufacturing
In June, the volume of industrial production increased by 4.2 percent from the same period the year before, while working-day adjusted data shows a 3.1 percent growth, the Hungarian Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported on Tuesday based on its first estimates.
The volume of industrial production in June – according to seasonally and working-day adjusted indices – was above the level of the previous month by 1.2 percent. Year-on-year, output grew by 3.5 percent in the first six months of this year.
In June, the largest growth was registered in the electronics sector, while the output of automotive manufacturing fell short of the average.
