Kravtex-Kühne inaugurates expanded bus manufacturing unit in Mosonmagyaróvár
Kühne, Hungary’s oldest traditional bus manufacturer, celebrated the company’s 160th anniversary with a special ceremony, inviting nearly a thousand guests to the event. The Kravtex-Kühne Group, makers of the Credo buses, also handed over its expanded production hall.
The new, 5,600 sqm production area boosts the total production floor space to 16,200 sqm, making the production site in Mosonmagyaróvár Hungary’s largest and most advanced bus factory, engaged in producing frame structures for buses and coaches.
Significantly increasing production capacity, the project was financed with a HUF 600 million (€2 million) investment from the company’s own resources.
After a few-year ramp-up phase, the expanded plant will be capable of producing 500 Credo buses annually, and will create hundreds of new jobs in Mosonmagyaróvár.
