Knorr-Bremse has successfully manufactured the first prototypes of its Digital Automatic Coupler (DAC), which will introduce automated functions and smart, digital services in rail freight transport.
The introduction of these new-generation systems will bring significant improvements in efficiency in rail freight transport across Europe.
The company has plans to develop a marketable product by 2025 for the introduction of its DAC system.
