Knorr-Bremse-led consortium to develop production chain and lifecycle management system
A consortium led by Knorr-Bremse Rail Systems Budapest has won government support for the development of the prototype of a modular digital production chain and product lifecycle management system.
The project undertakes the development and operation of an IoT platform that allows manufacturers to implement vertical and horizontal integration in their production.
The platform is being developed by Knorr-Bremse Rail Systems Budapest alongside the Budapest University of Technology and Economics and two Hungarian SMEs, industrial researcher IQ Kecskemét Ipari Kutató Kft. and 4 Sales System Kft.
