Kia dominates Hungarian EV registrations

With a market share of 12.3 percent and 321 units sold in the first eight months of the year, Kia continues to lead the Hungarian EV market, while the Korean car maker is expecting car sales to plummet next year.
The brand continues to increase the share of electrified (hybrid, plug-in hybrid and electric) models in its sales.
According to a press release by Kia Hungary, following the 8,800 cars sold in 2021, the brand’s Hungarian distributor is expecting to sell 8,500 cars in 2022, of which 6,176 units were already reached by August.
