Japanese company builds world’s largest carbon fibre plant in Nyergesújfalu
Japan-based Zoltek will create 347 jobs in Nyergesújfalu with a HUF 30.8 billion investment. The company will install 8 new production lines and increase annual carbon fibre manufacturing capacities from 10,000 to 15,000 tons.
Zoltek CEO Yoshihiro Takeuchi said at a press conference that the company accounts for 50 percent of the world’s carbon fibre production, supplying an ever-increasing global demand year after year.
