István Lepsényi: automotive industry to receive largest share of R&D support
The automotive industry’s significance in the Hungarian economy will not decrease, in fact, it is expected to show further growth, István Lepsényi, the Ministry for National Economy´s minister of state for economic regulation, said this week in Budapest at the automotive conference of HG Media Group’s event series called In Focus.
As in recent times, the R&D needs of the automotive manufacturing have seen a dynamic increase, it is expected in a few years that the largest share of R&D expenditure will also originate from this sector.
Lepsényi added that cooperation is already strong between local universities and large businesses.
