Palkovics: Innovation Center for the University of Debrecen to open gates in a year

The university-centred ecosystem of innovation is contributing to the birth of competitive, Hungarian-owned businesses, innovation and technology minister László Palkovics said at the inaugural economic partners meeting of the University of Debrecen.
The government has allocated a HUF 3.883 billion aid to allow the creation of the Innovation Center for the University of Debrecen.
The facility will collect players of education, research and the private sector in one place to provide an ecosystem that is expected to attract funding for research projects.
It will be engaged in all areas of technology development ranging from theoretical research to prototyping.
