Infineon to open new plant in Cegléd in late-2021
Infineon Technologies has held the foundation stone laying ceremony of its latest production unit in Cegléd.
The HUF 32 billion investment will allow the company, a developer and manufacturer of industrial semiconductors and market leader in several industrial segments, to strengthen its position on the global market.
The Hungarian government is supporting the investment with a HUF 6.4 billion non-refundable subsidy, while the total cost of the project is said to be HUF 32 billion. The company is creating 275 jobs thanks to the new plant.
