Hydro Extrusion Hungary to invest HUF 3 billion in Székesfehérvár unit

Hydro Extrusion Hungary Kft. will invest a total of HUF 2.8 billion in their Székesfehérvár production plant, which will be supported with a HUF 950 million investment subsidy by the Hungarian government, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade announced last week in Székesfehérvár.
The project is adding to a list of recent investments related to the manufacturing of electric vehicles, and is set to protect 1,500 existing positions and create 50 new jobs at the plant.
Frank Iepema, the CEO of Hydro Extrusion Hungary Kft., said during the announcement that the automotive industry is increasingly in need of light and strong aluminium profiles, prompting manufacturers to make more and more investments in the production of high-tech solutions.
