Hungary´s GDP growth continues to be driven by auto industry
Hungary´s gross domestic product (GDP) was up by 2.3% in Q3 2015 compared to the corresponding period in the previous year, reported the Hungarian Statistical Office earlier this week (KSH).
The increase was basically due to growths measured in the performance of industry, with the automotive sector as the main driver of the sector, as well as wholesale and retail trade and accommodation and food service activities, reported the Hungarian Statistical Office (KSH) this week.
According to seasonally and working-day adjusted data, Hungary's gross domestic product of Hungary was up by 2.2% in the 3rd quarter of 2015 y/y after a 2.4% increase in Q2 and a 3.1% growth in Q1.
Seasonally-adjusted indices also indicate that Hungary's GDP in Q3 rose by 0.5% from the previous quarter, according to the report published KSH.
