Hungary ranks 33rd on global innovation index
Hungary moved up two places from last year’s 35th on the list where a total of 141 countries were included in the ranking by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
Hungary 33rd out of 128 countries in the Global Innovation Index (GII), only ranking behind the Czech Republic of all members of the Visegrád Four, a country that fell back from 24th to 27th position this year.
Slovakia stepped back from 36th to 37th place, while Poland made an improvement by moving up from 46th to 39th position.
This year, Hungary was given 44.7 points out of 100 by WIPO, a slight improvement over last year’s 43 points.
