Hungary and Romania to jointly develop the automotive industry

Hungary and Romania are launching a joint economic development program in order to allow residents and enterprises on the other side of the border to benefit from investments in the automotive industry in Eastern Hungary. The aim of the program is the development of the cross-border supply chains. „This is good for Romania and the Romanian economy, good for Hungary and the Hungarian economy, good for the people living here, including the Hungarian people living here" – emphasized Péter Szijjártó Minister of Foreign Affairs at the announcement of the cooperation in Nagyvárad, Romania.
