Hungarian team finishes in P4 at Shell Eco-marathon
SZEnergy Team lined up on the grid at Shell Eco-marathon Europe for the 10th time this year. The team from Győr finished in an astonishing fourth position, barely missing out on a podium finish.
Between May 25th and 28th, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Part was home to Make the Future Live festival, an event attended by more than 25,000 visitors.
Despite challenging weather conditions, a new world record was set: a French team managed to cover 658 kilometres with a single litre of fuel with their internal combustion vehicle in the City Concept category.
SZEngine Team from Széchenyi István University of Győr became the most successful Hungarian team after finishing fourth in an incredibly competitive field.
Nevertheless, the team managed broke their previous record by achieving an energy consumption of 134 km/kWh.
The other two teams from Hungary were DE MK TEAM from Debrecen University and Kandó Electric from Kandó Kálmán Secondary Vocational School from Kecskemét.
