Suzuki unveiled the new-generation S-Cross last week. The Esztergom-manufactured SUV will be available for European customers from the end of the year, and it will be sold on the Latin America, Oceania and Asia markets later on.

Rheinmetall Industry Day Hungary 2021 was held between November 24th and 25th, which gave an opportunity for more than a hundred potential local suppliers to get in contact with the company seeking to establish future cooperation and manufacturing projects.

The German defence and security systems supplier has been reported to acquire a substantial stake in 4iG Nyrt. through a share purchase and capital increase, becoming its main digitalization partner in the future.

The Lukács Sándor Secondary Technical School for Mechatronics and Engineering in Győr has inaugurated a miniature manufacturing line containing every element in a production system to model Industry 4.0 practices and expand its vocational training portfolio.

In September, every twentieth new car sold in Hungary was an all-electric or hybrid model. This percentage exceeds every other country in the CEE region.
