Kravtex-Kühne Group, a bus manufacturer with production sites in Győr and Mosonmagyaróvár, will deliver ten purpose-built mobile medical clinics to the Hungarian Public Procurement and Supply Directorate (KEF).

Audi Hungaria has been hard at work to prepare for a new era in its history of car manufacturing: in 2018, the company will launch the serial production of electric motors at the Győr-based plant. The first batch of production equipment has been already integrated in the manufacturing process.

Automotive parts manufacturer Ames Hungária Kft. has begun the construction of a new, 6,000sqm production unit in Szentgotthárd. Ames will be the first company to establish the technology of powder metallurgy in Hungary. The HUF 3.5 billion investment will expand the Szentgotthárd unit’s capacity and create 75 jobs.

The Rába Group closed 2017 Q3 with consolidated revenues of nearly HUF 31 billion, realizing a 6.4 percent increase in turnover from the previous year.

In Q3, the company registered a consolidated revenue of HUF 9.2 billion, representing a 9.1 percent growth, Rába Járműipari Holding Nyrt. reported last week on the website of the Budapest Stock Exchange.

Indian-owned SMP will launch the manufacture of bumper and dashboard components at its Kecskemét plant in 2018. The 100,000sqm plant will also produce dashboard elements.

At the invitation of the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA), Hungary will be the first international destination besides the United States of America where the world’s most renowned investment location advisory board will visit.

Their aim is to become acquainted with Hungary’s investment opportunities, which could strengthen the country’s position in the eyes of multinationals in the advisory board’s clientele.

The new solutions will create systems that are cheaper, more tolerant towards the work environment and as a result more cost efficient and flexible than existing technologies.
