Hungarian aircraft manufacturing has a huge potential, the CEO of Kecskemét-based Magnus Aircraft told Autopro in an interview last week.

We sat down with Imre Katona, who spoke about the potential in a relatively new segment of the domestic vehicle manufacturing industry in relation with their newly developed electric aircraft, powered by a Siemens-made electric motor.

Groundworks for the new body shop at Audi’s Győr-based manufacturing plant started last week according to plan. According to the company’s communication, 1,800 8-metre deep foundation bollards will be laid down to stabilise the 80,000 sqm facility.

Rail Cargo Hungaria Zrt. (RHC) has been the freight partner of Magyar Suzuki Corporation for 25 years. On the 25th anniversary of their partnership, RHC deployed the 4,000th block train carrying 200 Suzuki cars bound for Zeebrugge, Belgium.
