Hungarian students returned with one gold and one silver medal from professional youth skill contest Worldskills and received an award for excellence.

The 6th Formula Student Hungary event began last Thursday at Győr-Gönyű Harbour.

1,000 students in 43 teams from 14 countries arrived in Győr to compete in one of the most popular rounds of the Formula Student series. Western Europe was represented by 24 teams, as well as the CEE region, while the event also lined up a team from Canada.

According to the Hungarian Central Statistical Office, average gross wages increased by 3.6 percent year-on-year, while excluding fostered workers, the increase in nominal gross wages amounted to 4.7 percent.
