In Q2 2022, Rába Járműipari Holding Nyrt. increased its revenues by almost one-third compared to the same period in the previous year. At the same time, the company registered a profit fall of 80 percent to HUF 318 million. That said, the Győr-based manufacturer still managed to get closer to its targets.

Kia is leading EV sales in Hungary. According to its own projections, however, the company is expecting the car market to shrink by 30 percent next year.

Hungarian railway company MÁV has launched market research for the purchase of hydrogen fuel cell locomotives. A decision on the potential supplier is expected before the end of 2022.
