According to German newspaper Bild am Sonntag, authorities have found manipulative software in the 3-litre Audi TDi engine as a non-authorized option. No official word has been released by the German car maker to respond to the claims.

Audi TDi engine: another cheater?

So far, over 43,000 applications have been registered at the new Jaguar plant in Nitra, Slovakia, to be opened in 2018, a fifteen-fold excess over actual open positions at the British car maker’s latest manufacturing unit.

Two weeks ago, Daimler announced to build a second Mercedes plant in Kecskemét, Hungary. According to company executives, the new manufacturing unit will integrate into the existing plant.

Opel has restarted production after its scheduled summer shutdown, spokesperson Zoltán Kaszás said last week.

The North-western Hungarian Transport Center (ÉNYKK) made the largest bus procurement deal of the year last week by purchasing 61 locally built Credo buses.
