Huayou Cobalt to manufacture battery cathodes in Ács

Chinese Huayou Cobalt is building its first European plant in Ács, Hungary, where it will produce cathodes for batteries. With the investment of around HUF 520 billion, the company, which specializes in the development and production of lithium-ion batteries and new cobalt materials, will create 900 new jobs. The capacity of the plant will be approximately one hundred thousand tons per year.
