HIPA report: 36 automotive investments created 6,700 new jobs Hungary in 2017
In 2017, 96 positive investment decisions were made thanks to the intervention of the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency: a total investment volume of €3,512 million, 100 projects and 17,021 jobs created.
German investors made positive decisions in 29 cases, accounting for a whopping 40% share in all jobs created in the Hungarian motor industry in 2017.
The United States, one of Hungary’s three most important partners, kept its position with 10 projects and 1,616 jobs created.
A record number of 18 projects were connected to Hungarian businesses in 2017.
