Győr-based Audi to support university innovation project

Audi Hungaria and Széchenyi István University of Győr will work together on innovative projects aimed at sustainability.

A cooperation agreement was signed on April 7th by Alfons Dintner, chairman of the Audi Hungaria board of directors, Robert Buttenhauser, Audi Hungaria board member for powertrain production, Dr. Erzsébet Knáb, chairman of the Széchenyi István University board of trustees, and Bálint Filep, president of the university, at ZalaZone proving grounds in the presence of Prof. Dr. László Palkovics, Hungary's Minister of Innovation and Technology.

The joint innovation projects will focus on the research and validation of alternative fuels, the industrial application of hydrogen and reduction of carbon emissions.
