Former Knorr-Bremse chief-executive to join Hungarian government

The Minister of National Economy has recommended appointing István Lepsényi secretary of state for economic regulation. After László Palkovics, another noted professional from the auto industry will join the Hungarian government.

István Lepsényi will start work in his new position on 1 November 2015, replacing Béla Glattfelder.

Isván Lepsényi is the second automotive professional from Knorr-Bremse to join the Hungarian government

István Lepsényi graduated as an economic engineer and mechanical engineer. Between 1990 and 1995, he was the CEO of Autokonszern Rt., while from 1991 and 1994 he was the CEO of Magyar Suzuki Rt.

After that worked as chief-executive at Knorr-Bremse Fékrendszer Kft. for more than 20 years.
