Fifteen-fold excess of applications for open positions at new Jaguar plant in Slovakia
So far, over 43,000 applications have been registered at the new Jaguar plant in Slovakia, to be opened in 2018, Slovakian news agency TASR reported this week.
An investment agreement on the British manufacturer’s new plant in Nitra was signed last December in Bratislava by the Slovakian government and representatives of Jaguar, a member of India-based Tata Group since 2008.
Creating 2,800 jobs, the Nitra factory, the fourth car plant to be opened in Slovakia, will begin production in 2018.
Built with a £1.1 billion investment, the Nitra plant will manufacture 150,000 cars in 2018.
