A few months ago we presented Evopro Bus Kft.'s development project, a new hybrid city bus based on a new production technology, which has finally been completed.

The company had received a 392 million HUF nun-refundable grant from New Széchenyi Plan funds within the project called "Supporting market-oriented R&D activities". The total costs of the development project of the new hybrid bus amounted to 758 million HUF.

| Several variants are available |
The company primarily used Hungarian-made components, which resulted in a product family with 70 percent Hungarian added value, including several model variants, such as a midi bus, an articulated bus and a trolley bus.
The project involves many innovative solutions, for instance they broke with the tradition of converting an existing diesel powertrain into a hybrid or fuel cell engine and developed a completely new power source from scratch, stressed evopro Bus Kft. in its announcement.
