Eve Power to build a battery plant in Debrecen

The world's ninth largest electric battery manufacturer, China's Eve Power, is building its first European plant in Debrecen with an investment of HUF 400 billion. As a result of the investment, more than a thousand new jobs will be created. The company came at BMW's request to supply its Hungarian factory, which is still under construction, with new generation cylindrical battery cells.
