Etisoft´s New Hungarian Branch: from Labels to Industry 4.0 Solutions

– There is a well-known saying in both countries: ‘Polak, Węgier, dwa bratanki’, which roughly translates to ‘Poles and Hungarians are brothers’. It perfectly conveys the mutual friendship between the two nations. But let's talk about business. What's made you launch a Budapest branch of your company?
– The Hungarian market is not unknown to Etisoft, and we, as the leading industrial label manufacturer, are already identifiable in the Hungarian market. We specialise in serving multi-branch companies and our partners from the automotive industry alone amount to over 400 factories all over the world. Our Hungarian clients are chiefly automotive, electronics, and household appliance companies. In order to be even closer to our present and future clients, we've decided to launch a branch in Budapest. It makes us better prepared to meet our clients' needs even more fully. Our presence, and the ability to perform quick ‘here-and-now’ actions, will allow us to respond more swiftly, building Etisoft's strong reputation in the Hungarian market in line with the company's strategy. This will also provide us with greater ability to expand into markets neighbouring Hungary.

– Etisoft Hungary is your company's sixth foreign branch. You began 25 years ago as a small manufacturing plant, and today, you employ nearly 700 people serving multi-branch clients all over the world. What do you consider to be your advantages?
– We know where we want to be in the future, which is why we've built a consortium of companies specialised in supplying varied and comprehensive labelling systems, automatic identification systems, and production automation systems. We're seen as the experts in the industry. The core of our activities is still label manufacture. Our portfolio presently contains approx. 20,000 design types using over 1000 types of raw materials. We're developing the same way our clients are. With many of them, we've walked the same path, beginning from supplying labels; nowadays, we've extended our range of cooperation to include Industry 4.0 and IoT (Internet of Things) solutions, as well.
Last year alone, we invested over €3 million in modernisation of our machinery which has allowed us to offer a very broad range of technologies and high production capacity.
Our chief asset is complex IT systems for automating production, including systems based on bar-code technology and RFID technology. We support our partners by offering them improvements for their data and production management processes, video systems, as well as production monitoring which enables identification of materials, components, and tooling. These solutions encompass the entire process from order placement and component delivery, all the way to shipment of goods to clients and after-sales services.
We are known for our original projects; we have our own R&D Department and laboratory. We seek solutions together with our clients; we gladly do consultative selling.
It's also worth mentioning that we don't sell Industry 4.0 solutions ‘off the shelf’ - we always design them individually, taking into consideration the manufacturing and logistics environment our clients operate in. Our innovative solutions from our portfolio are not only tested but also actively used by us in our manufacturing plant in Gliwice, Poland. Our chief asset is undoubtedly the versatile way we build our clients' an advantage over their competition.

– We now know what you, as Etisoft, can offer to your clients. What kind of a partnership model do you offer?
- Manufacturing and logistics are adjusted to each individual cooperation project. The business solution that we like to apply is a consolidation of label manufacture and supply. We do this for a variety of clients such as one of the largest international automotive concerns, cooperating in this way with 50 factories all over the world. A professional team-based approach, diverse manufacturing technologies, specific solutions, and thorough identification of our clients' needs – we've tested all this in markets across the world. Our activities are supported by the lean management philosophy, according to which our organisation operates.

– Etisoft's strength lies in building strong relationships with our clients. This has made us a recommended partner and qualified supplier of major companies from many industries. We boast the title of Delphi's Supplier of the Year and the title of Best Partner for best suppliers for Samsung Electronics, which they have been awarding us for several years. Our long-standing partner, 3M, has honoured us with the ‘Industrial Business Group’ award.
