DUIHK awards Hungarian firms
German-Hungarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (DUIHK) handed out four awards in the first week of March to acknowledge exceptional Hungarian companies and organizations.
In three categories, the winners were companies in Győr, while the fourth award went to a Pécs-based operation.
Dale A. Marting, chairman of DUIHK, said at the award ceremony that similarly to Germany, the high-standard vocational educational system is also an essential part of the country's economic competitiveness.
The awardees were:
INNOVATION category: MOBILIS Közhasznú Nonprofit Kft. (Győr)
MOTIVATION category: Hauni Hungaria Gépgyártó Kft. (Pécs)
COOPERATION category: Professio Fémipari és Szakképzési Klaszter (Győr)
A special prize was awarded to the Győr-Moson-Sopron County Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Győr)
