Doosan to build copper foil plant in Hungary to power 2.2 million EVs a year
South Korean supplier Doosan will open a new plant in Tatabánya in December, where it will manufacture battery copper foil for EVs.
The investment is planned to be completed by October 2019, as a result of which the new plant will have an annual production capacity of 50,000 tons of battery copper foil, enough for batteries to power 2.2 million EVs.
