Deltaplast and Kecskemét College consolidate ties with new partnership
Kecskemét College and plastic products manufacturer Deltaplast have consolidated their existing partnership by signing a new strategic agreement.
Rector Ailer Piroska and Deltaplast CEO Zsolt Csengery signed an agreement, which aims at promoting the higher educational institute's role in research and development, thus contributing to the growth of the region's and Hungary's economy.
Deltaplast is the first mid-sized company to sign a strategic partnership agreement with Kecskemét College. The company has now entered a renowned line of partners such as the Municipality of Kecskemét, Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Hungary, the National Bank of Hungary, Knorr-Bremse and Univer Product.
Deltaplast, founded in 1991, is a Hungarian-owned company engaged in the production of plastic components and is a major player in domestic automotive parts manufacturing. The company's Kecskemét location is continuously under development and is constantly expanded with new services in order to meet ever higher customer requirements. The company boasts a headcount of nearly 100 people.
As per the agreement Kecskemét College undertook a professional collaboration in research&development and other project with companies designated by Deltaplast, while Deltaplast is providing trainee positions at its automotive production and tools shops.
The company has been participating in the dual education programme of Kecskemét Collage for two years, and is providing constant feedback for the trainings.
