Debrecen curbs trolley and tram service due to soaring energy prices
Due to the effects of the energy crisis in Debrecen, DKV Zrt. has announced to introduce the second stage of its optimized public transport schedule starting in mid-November.
According to a press release published on the website of DKV (Debrecent Transport Company), further optimization to the town’s public transport services was necessitated by high inflation and soaring fuel and energy prices.
The measures announced now will have no staff-related consequences.
The changes mostly affect the town’s electric - trolley bus and tramway - services.
