Daimler prolongs production halt at Mercedes-Benz Kecskemét
Mercedes-Benz parent Daimler announced on March 17th to halt production for two weeks at its Europe-based manufacturing locations. The stoppage has now been extended by another two weeks.
The decision also affected the Mercedes-Benz plant in Kecskemét, where production was halted on March 20th. This week, the stoppage was announced to be prolonged by another two weeks, now expected to last through April 21st.
The operation of essential activities is still secured with a minimum required staff presence and appropriate safety measures in the face of the current pandemic.
