ContiTech expand in Subotica
ContiTech will double production capacity and create 500 new jobs in Subotica, northern Vojvodina, Serbia.
ContiTech, a manufacturer of rubber and plastic components, will build a 12,000-square-metre production hall in Subotica, northern Serbia, with a EUR 17 million investment.
The plant in Vojvodina currently employs 650 people, and the investment will add some 500 new employees.
The plant produces hose lines and other plastic components for European OEMs and agricultural manufacturers. Constructions for the new building will begin this year, while the new facility is expected to be handed over in Q4 2016.
