Continental reorganisation plan leaves Hungary headcount unaffected
German technology giant Continental is having to close down several locations of its global manufacturing network due to the growing popularity of electric drivetrain technologies around the world.
The company has released a statement listing the manufacturing units included in the shutdowns. No Hungarian locations are affected.
The company will consider reorganization measures at the following plants: Babenhausen (Germany), Roding (Germany), Limbach-Oberfrohna (Germany), Pisa (Italy), Newport News (Virginia, USA), Henderson (North Carolina, USA), Petaling Jaya (Malaysia).
