Continental plan massive investment to expand Hungary-based R&D facilities

Continental Automotive Hungary Kft. have announced to expand their R&D facilities in Hungary. The tech giant’s HUF 4.2 billion investment will be supported with a HUF 1 billion non-refundable government subsidy, Hungary’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade announced earlier this week.
Péter Szijjártó (pictured on the right with Balázs Lóránd, Head of Continental Automotive Hungary's AI Competence Center) added that the investment project, highlighting the development of AI and automated technologies, will create 70 new, high value-added jobs in Budapest and Veszprém, and secures the future of hundreds of existing jobs at the company.
