The Chinese electric car manufacturer BYD is establishing a battery assembly plant in Fót with an investment of HUF 10 billion. With the investment creating 100 jobs, the company that manufactures electric buses in Komárom is strengthening its presence in Hungary. BYD is the world's largest electric car manufacturer and is currently looking for the right location to build its first European car factory.
