BREAKING: BMW to build new car plant in Hungary
German car maker BMW will build a new plant in Debrecen, Hungary, Péter Szijjártó, Hungary’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, announced on Tuesday in Budapest.
The BMW Group is expanding its European production network, and has announced to build a new production unit near Debrecen, Hungary, hipa.hu reports.
The €1 billion investment will allow the production of 150,000 cars annually and is set to create 1,000 jobs.
