Bosch relocates Bremen production capacities to Eger unit
Quoting changing market conditions, Bosch is reorganising its automotive steering division in Europe, focusing production capacities to the company’s plants in Vendôme (France) and Eger (Hungary), Robert Bosch Kft. announced this week.
The plants in Vendôme and Eger are already engaged in the manufacturing of automotive steering systems.
Bosch plans to shut down production in Bremen (Germany) and relocate capacities to Eger, laying off 240 employees at the German unit in the process.
