Bosch and BME opens competence centre in Budapest
Bosch opened a new competence centre at Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME). The facility, named Innovative Vehicle Technologies Competence Centre is equipped with tools and simulation systems that are considered unique in the Hungarian technical higher education. The facility will not only be used by students, but also by professionals of BME and Bosch. Engineers will simulate the functioning of electric drives and its components with the goal of increasing their efficiency, thus allowing electric cars to travel further with less energy. To find ways to better estimate the range a car has with the energy currently left in the battery, is another objective of BME and Bosch.
