BMW plant in Debrecen faces potential delay due to archaeological finds
Archaeologists have found three ancient settlements in the area of the North-Western Economic Area of Debrecen, which will also be home to the BMW Group’s new greenfield investment in Hungary, EDC Debrecen Urban and Economic Development Centre reported.
150 archaeologists from 150 museums are taking part in the exploration.
On the investment area a total of 15 archaeological sites have been registered on a total area of 240,000 square metres.
