BMW appoints plant director for Debrecen unit

BMW AG has appointed Hans-Peter Kemser as the plant director of the OEM’s new Debrecen unit, currently still under construction.
Currently managing the group’s Leipzig plant, the 56-year old will oversee the construction of the Debrecen unit effective from January 2022.
Hans-Peter Kemser has led the BMW AG’s Leipzig plant since 2015, where he was responsible for the serial production of the BMW 1 and 3 Series and all-electric i3 model.
