Automotive test facility ZalaZone expands with new track elements

To be completed by the end of next year with a total investment of HUF 45 billion, the test facility has recently seen the completion of the entire road network of its smart city section, with the construction of buildings units soon starting on the facility’s faux urban area.
The surfacing of another section, a 1.5-kilometre long, 2 by 2-lane motorway section has also been completed, including the bridge structure of a 40-metre long overpass and a 1-kilometre section of an adjoining 3-kilometre road network.
Construction has also started for a track element for the testing of advanced driver assist systems, where autonomous vehicles will be tested in various traffic situations.
