Automotive supplier Salgglas Zrt. to develop innovative sidelite glass technology with EU support
Salgótarján-based Salgglas Zrt., a supplier of premium OEMs such as Audi and Mercedes, has won a HUF 380m (€1.22m) support from EU funds for a HUF 1bln (€3.2m) technology development project to develop new automotive "glass-in-glass" sidelite products, the company’s CEO said this week.
Salgglas CEO Gábor Kugler added that the project will be carried out under the framework of the Széchenyi 2020 initiative, and received support in the Economy Development and Innovation Operative Programme (GINOP), a project aiming to subsidise R&D&I activities.
