Automotive stakeholders optimistic about H2 2020 prospects in Hungary

At the last instalment of the online conference series organized by Hungarian economic news site Portfolio, several players of the Hungarian automotive industry and the minister of state on behalf of the Ministry of Innovation and Technology (ITM) pointed out tangible improvements in the sector since August.
Although the whole of the year will not reflect the miserable prospects projected back during the spring months, the country’s GDP and many players in industry will likely see negative year-on-year results.
The conference, entitled “New era, growing challenges”, was opened by Csaba Kilián, the secretary-general of the Association of the Hungarian Automotive Industry (AHAI).
