Autoliv Hungary workers prepare for strike
Following a series of failed wage talks, a strike committee has been formed at the Sopronkövesd-based Autoliv plant, an automotive supplier employing 2,400 people.
The local union leader said they pushed for a 12 percent wage increase, a proposal that was met with a 2.5 percent bid from the company.
Union leader Marianna Horváth said the counter-offer is humiliating, and the workers have begun collecting signatures for a possible strike.
