Audi’s Győr plant to be home of Europe’s largest PV rooftop installation
The joint project of Audi Hungaria and E.ON has reached a milestone.
The joint project of Audi Hungaria and E.ON will result in Europe’s largest photovoltaic rooftop installation, built on the roof of the German car maker’s two Győr-based logistics centres.
More than 20,000 solar modules have been installed on one of the facilities, covering a roof area of 80,000 square metres.
The following phase will add a similar number of modules on the second building’s roof area of another 80,000 square metres.
