Audi yet again awarded for Győr-made engine
The International Engine of the Year Awards in the category of displacement between 2.0 and 2.5 litres has been won by an engine manufactured at Audi’s Győr plant for the ninth consecutive time.
The 400bhp (294kW) engine is the most powerful five-cylinder power unit currently in mass production.
The engine has been in production at the Audi Hungaria plant since 2008.
The 2.5-litre five-cylinder TFSI engine is available in the Audi TT RS Coupé and Roadster and RS3 Saloon models.
